I owe my current academic success to the philosophy that it is more important to understand why concepts work the way they do than simply memorizing how to implement these concepts. It is this strategy that I hope to impress upon my students. I am currently a student of the University of Missouri's Kansas City School of Medicine. My education has provided me with a wide range of academic skills necessary to tutor a variety of subjects to students of all ages, including various study habits, organizational strategies, and life skills. These skills will be extremely useful to my students in both their current academic endeavors and in their future professional pursuits. I can help students in Elementary and Middle School Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, AP Calculus, AB, Geometry, Trigonometry, Anatomy, and Physics. I can also help students prepare for the ACT. In my free time, I have continuously involved myself in a variety of extracurricular activities, including the National Honor Society, serving as captain of the varsity soccer squad, singing in a choir, and of course, tutoring.
